BrainBoost – Daily Brain Games: Privacy Policy

BrainBoost is a free brain-training game for Android published by E Skills Productions. This policy explains what data the app and our server (brainboost.myeskills.com) handle.

1. Playing without an account (guest)

No account is needed. Your progress, scores, XP, achievements, streaks and settings are saved only on your device (local storage). This data is not sent to us.

2. Optional leaderboard account

If you choose to join the global leaderboard we collect: your email address (for login and password recovery), your password (stored only as a secure hash by WordPress), a public display name, your game results (stage, score, stars, completion time, completion date, daily-challenge completion) and the date you gave consent to public listing. We also keep a salted one-way hash of your IP address with API requests for security and rate limiting (kept for up to 30 days).

3. What is public

Only your display name, level, XP and scores are shown on the public leaderboard and your public profile – and only if you agreed. Your email address is never shown publicly. You can hide your scores at any time in the app (Account → Show me on the public leaderboard).

4. Advertising

The app is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob, configured through the Andromo app platform. Google may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address and app-interaction data to show, personalise and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Where required, you will be asked for consent. You can reset or opt out of ad personalisation in your Android settings.

5. How we use data

To provide the leaderboard and your account, synchronise your progress, prevent cheating and abuse, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention and deletion

Account data is kept until you delete your account. You can delete it in the app (Account → Delete account) or at https://brainboost.myeskills.com/delete-account/. Deletion permanently removes your account, profile, scores and synced progress from our server.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. The app uses short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens and never stores administrator credentials.

8. Children

BrainBoost is a general-audience game. The optional leaderboard account is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the minimum age required in your country). Children can play as guests without providing any personal data.

9. Your rights

You can access, correct (display name), export or delete your data. Contact us for any privacy request.
